Quantum Irama Studios makes games rooted in Malay heritage: the stories, music and martial arts of the Malay world, built into games people can pick up and play.
Irama Pendekar
Our first game is Irama Pendekar: Pusaka Gamelan yang Hilang, a third-person action game in which five warriors take back the five heirloom gamelan sets stolen by the creatures of Malay folklore. It runs on Mac, Windows, iPad and iPhone.
What we care about
- Heritage you can play. Folklore creatures, gamelan instruments and silat weapons are the game itself, not decoration.
- Bahasa Melayu first. Irama Pendekar starts in Bahasa Melayu, with English one setting away.
- Made to be finished. Clear navigation, fair guardians and difficulty settings help more players reach the ending.
Irama means rhythm
In Irama Pendekar, rhythm is what the darkness stole and what the warriors bring home. Each chapter returns one gamelan set, and the music grows until the whole ensemble plays.
